A Mass of Christian Burial for former St. Thomas Dean of Students William Malevich will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 1, in the Chapel of St. Thomas Aquinas on the St. Paul campus.
Visitation will be at 9:30 a.m. in the chapel, and after the Mass a reception will be held in the "Blue Lagoon," the lounge on the first floor of Murray-Herrick Campus Center. Guests will be encourage to tell stories about Malevich during the reception.
Complimentary parking will be available in the Anderson Parking Facility on the south campus; in Lot A and the R-2 level of Morrison Hall (access both from Selby Avenue and Finn Street); and in Lot G (Cleveland Avenue) for those with a state-issued mobility permit.
Malevich died Tuesday, July 14, in Arizona. He served as dean of students from 1966 to 1993, when he retired. Read his Newsroom obituary here and a Scroll essay about his impact on students here.
