Applicants must be permanent residents of Minnesota’s 4th Congressional District (or must have been residential students long enough to register to vote in the 4th District). This means you must live in: Arden Hills, Falcon Heights, Gem Lake, Inver Grove Heights, landfall, Lauderdale, Lilydale, Little Canada, Maplewood, Mendota, Mendota Heights, Mounds View, New Brighton, Newport, North Oaks, North St. Paul, Oakdale, Roseville, St. Anthony Park, St. Paul, Shoreview, South St. Paul, Sunfish Lake, Vadnais Heights, West St. Paul, White Bear Lake, White Bear Township or Woodbury.
The scholarship recognizes students for academic achievement, extracurricular activities, work experience and financial need. Priority is given to students who are not financially dependent on a parent or guardian and who rely primarily or solely on personal or spousal earnings, savings and/or loans for education and living expenses.
