Apply for funds to attend Leaders of Today and Tomorrow conference
The Leaders of Today and Tomorrow (LOTT) conference is an opportunity for young women to better familiarize themselves with public policy and those who make it. Seminar speakers include women leaders from the legislature, courts, state agencies and interest groups. Through these seminars, students will learn how policy is made and how it affects the lives of women.
Each year the Luann Dummer Center for Women is given an anonymous donation of $1,000 to send female undergraduate students to the LOTT and other conferences that enhance leadership skills.
Three copies of the completed application must be sent to the Luann Dummer Center for Women, Mail #4075, no later than Friday, Nov. 16, 2001. The application must include:
- A current transcript (may be unofficial)
- A list of co-curricular activities
- A completed application
- A completed LOTT registration form
Applications are available in the women’s center, Room 103, O’Shaughnessy Educational Center, or contact Pat Alexander to request an application by e-mail.
