Association for Strategic Planning hosts speaker Jan. 22
The Association for Strategic Planning-Minnesota chapter announces the first event in its 2008 breakfast series.
Linda Ireland, co-owner and partner of Aveus, will give a talk, “Getting Ready for the Shape of Your New World,” on Tuesday, Jan. 22, in Room 202, Opus Hall, on the Minneapolis campus (see a campus map with parking locations).

- 7 a.m. registration
- 7:15 a.m. breakfast
- 7:45-9 a.m. speaker
Ireland will discuss how globalization affects the decisions made by organizations and will provide her insights into the factors that drive success in today’s globally minded business world.
Ireland holds advisory and board positions for for-profit and nonprofit organizations, including Menttium Corp., Hennepin Theatre Trust and Community Health Charities America. She also is an active angel investor in women-led businesses. Ireland holds two undergraduate degrees from the University of Minnesota and an M.B.A. from the University of St. Thomas, where she also teaches the strategy capstone of the school’s Executive MBA program.
