A Pilgrim’s Heart

Rachelle de la Cruz ’15 CSMA was brought to the University of St. Thomas’ Master of Arts in Catholic Studies (CSMA) program by her desire to learn who God wanted her to become.
T-shirts representing women affected by sexual assault or violence hang from a line in the lower quad April 21, 2015. The "Clothesline Project" display was part of a week-long collection of activities meant to highlight and combat rape culture on college campuses. The display was put on by student group Feminist Community (FemCom), a group run out of the Luann Dummer Center for Women.

The Feminist Community, a student-run group at St. Thomas, is striving to end sexual assault, teach acceptance and spread the idea of feminism.
