Law School to Expand, Rename Post-Grad Fellowship Program

The University of St. Thomas School of Law has announced it is launching a campaign to grow its post-graduate fellowship program, providing expanded opportunities for recent graduates to serve the poor. The fellowship program, which began in 2014, will also be newly named the Archbishop Ireland Justice Fellows in honor of John Ireland, the founder of the University of St. Thomas.

Tommie Experts: John Abraham’s New Research on Ocean Warming

A new analysis shows the world’s oceans were the warmest in 2019 than any other time in recorded human history, especially between the surface and a depth of 2,000 meters. The study was conducted by an international team of 14 scientists from 11 institutes across the world, including School of Engineering professor John Abraham.

Cookies and College: Beginning Business Acumen Conference Builds Skills, St. Thomas Connections

Seniors Madison Morehouse and Sarah Isse have teamed with Minneapolis nonprofit Cookie Cart each of the last two semesters to bring its student workers to St. Thomas for a full-day Beginning Business Acumen Conference, exposing them to life as college students and connecting their budding skill sets to college futures.
