BESA will host car wash Saturday
Members of the Black Empowerment Student Alliance (BESA) at St. Thomas will host a car wash from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 11, at the Holiday service station on Nicollet Avenue and Diamond Lake Road in Minneapolis.
This event is free and open to the public; donations will be appreciated. Proceeds from this fundraiser will help support cultural inclusion programs that will be hosted by BESA during the 2007-2008 academic year.
To get to the car wash from Interstate 35W, exit at 46th Street (the Diamond Lake Road exit is closed). Turn west on 46th Street, go to Nicollet Avenue and take a left. Continue south on Nicollet Avenue until you see the Holiday station on the right at 5444 Nicollet Ave.
