Bike Enthusiasts at St. Thomas club will sponsor a bike donation drive
The newest club on campus, Bicycle Enthusiasts at St. Thomas (BEAST), is sponsoring a bike donation drive during the convocation hour Tuesday, Nov. 7, on Foley Plaza, St. Paul campus.
The bikes are being collected as a service project for repair and reconditioning. The collected bikes either will be given to charity or kept as an inventory for the club's goal of making bikes available for use by the St. Thomas community in spring 2007.
So, don't let your neglected bike rust away in a basement or garage. Before winter sets in, bring your unwanted bicycle, velocipede, unicycle, tricycle, quadricycle or recumbent bike to Foley Plaza for reuse and recycling. Just look for the gathered bikes on the plaza.
