Classes from the departments of Business, Theology, Sociology, Justice and Peace Studies (JPST), Biology, and Health and Human Performance all gathered at the end of April to discuss HIV and AIDS, and how they could work together to have more effective and well-rounded approaches to solving problems.
By visiting each other’s classrooms, faculty have learned new techniques, including the "flipped classroom" in which students watch lecture videos before class and spend class time more engaged with the material.
