A St. Thomas junior suffered a minor injury early Sunday in his St. Paul home when he was grazed in the wrist by a stray bullet fired during a police chase.
About a dozen stolen instruments included two trombones and a guitar from St. Thomas.
On the morning of Friday, Nov. 1, per an alert issued by the St. Catherine University Department of Public Safety, a suspicious object was found in a wooded area on the west side of their campus.
On Thursday, Oct. 17, a UST student reported he was approached by Peter Laverne Carter, who has been trespassed from campus several times for attempting to swindle community members. .
At approximately 1:32 a.m. Friday, Sept. 13, a Public Safety officer observed a UST student thrown to the ground by three unidentified suspects at the front of the alley on the north side of 2055 Summit Avenue, Sitzmann Hall.
Public Safety would like to advise the University of St. Thomas community of suspicious activity recently reported at off campus locations.
An unidentified witness approached Public Safety officers and reported an unidentified victim had been assaulted at the intersection of 10th Street South and Hennepin Avenue.
An unidentified victim's phone was stolen by a suspect on a bicycle on July 29; and an unidentified victim was robbed at knifepoint on July 30.
The robbery took place July 12 and involved a non-UST affiliated victim outside Terrance Murphy Hall.
Public Safety would like to advise the University of St. Thomas community of several incidents recently reported by the Minneapolis Police Department via MPD Action Alerts.
At about 1:45 p.m. Monday, April 29, Public Safety received information from the St. Paul Police Department that three unknown suspects entered an unlocked apartment, held a resident at gunpoint, and possibly removed personal property items from inside.
At 2:10 p.m. Monday, April 29, a UST student reported she was walking from 11th Street through the plaza area, toward the Terrence Murphy Hall entrance, when an unidentified suspect approached the student from behind, grabbed her cell phone, then forcibly shoved her to the ground.
At 2:40 p.m. on Wednesday, March 6, a UST student reported her unattended laptop was stolen from a desk on the lower level of the O’Shaughnessy-Frey Library.
Public Safety would like to alert the University of St. Thomas community of an aggravated assault on the 1100 block of Hennepin Avenue.
The front door of 2050 Summit Avenue was forced open and the frame damaged.
