Since launching in 2016, the St. Thomas E-Learning and Research (STELAR) center has been at the forefront of technology-enhanced instruction at the University of St. Thomas -- to an enthusiastic response by both students and faculty.
The University of St. Thomas’ new Anderson Student Center has been awarded Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) gold certification by the U.S. Green Building Council. The university in 2008 adopted a policy of pursuing green, sustainable and energy-efficient strategies for all new building projects; this marks the first time, however, that it submitted a building for LEED certification.
The east side of the lower quadrangle will be fenced off on May 23. The north-south sidewalk that runs from the Arches to the upper quadrangle will remain open as much as possible to allow pedestrian traffic.
