Faculty: Instructional technologies classes begin this month

Still interested on how to add an online component to your class this fall? The following classes can help you get started.

Blackboard Design and Content Basics
This class meets from 1:30 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 28, in Room 105 of the Charles J. Keffer Library, in Opus Hall, Minneapolis campus.

The class explores online teaching issues and the basics of building a Blackboard course. If you are new to Blackboard, this session is the place to start.

Introduction to RefWorks
Class sessions will be held:

  • 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 14, in Room 111 of Charles J. Keffer Library in Opus Hall, Minneapolis campus
  • 1-2:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 22, in Room 314, O'Shaughnessy-Frey Library Center, St. Paul campus
  • 1-2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 27, in Room 111, Charles J. Keffer Library in Opus Hall, Minneapolis campus
