Colleges Against Cancer to Hand out Free Sunglasses

As a reminder of skin cancer awareness, Colleges Against Cancer will give away sunglasses during convo hour today, Thursday, March 17, outside the cafeteria in Murray-Herrick Campus Center. The giveaway will start at 11:45 a.m. and will last until about 1 p.m., when the sunglasses are expected to run out.

Colleges Against Cancer points out that spring break is not a time to forget about the dangers of sun exposure; remember to apply sunscreen with a sun protection factor of at least 30, wear sunglasses with total UV protection, and wear wide-brimmed hats and other protective clothing.
