International Student Services at the University of St. Thomas invites members of the St. Thomas community to join the Friendship Family Program for spring semester 2013. This program connects new international students with the broader St. Thomas community through invitations to family dinners and other various family activities.
Only a minimum time commitment is needed. The goal is not to create additional activities for international students, but to invite them to join your family for previously scheduled events (such as a child’s play or sporting event, holiday dinner or movie night).
The Friendship Family Program helps international students adjust to life in the United States while promoting cultural exchange within the St. Thomas community. Inviting an international student into a family’s life is a great way for them to learn about various countries, world cultures and traditions.
