A few high school students at Cretin-Derham Hall will represent the LaSallian Youth group at World Youth Day 2000 next summer in Rome.

LaSallian Youth is a national organization of young people committed to faith, service and community.

Here’s how you can help these students fund their trip, and purchase a gift for someone on your Christmas list besides.

The students are selling three animated Billy Budd Family Video Classics: “Michael the Visitor” and “Martin the Cobbler” (adaptations of short stories by Leo Tolstoy) and “The First Christmas.” “The First Christmas” received the Andrew Carnegie Medal, and “Martin the Cobbler” received first prize at the Ottawa International Animation Film Festival.

Each video is $15 with discounts available for multiple purchases.

If you’d like to purchase one (or more!), contact Nick Lauer in Room 445D of the Minneapolis campus, call (651) 962-4205, or send e-mail to nclauer@stthomas.edu.
