Loftus Mini-Grant deadline is Nov. 16

Loftus Mini-Grants, established in 2006 by Bob and Mary Jo Loftus, again are available to University of St. Thomas students, staff and faculty.

The grants support programs and projects at the university that will improve access – particularly in the area of health care – for underserved populations.

Earlier Loftus Mini-Grants have supported faculty research on first-generation students, helped English-as-a-second-language students with their medical needs, and provided health care for women in prison.

Grant awards range from a minimum of $500 to a maximum of $2,500.

Proposals for the grants are being accepted until Monday, Nov. 16.  Further information and application forms can be found on the Office of Institutional Diversity Web site.

More information about the grants also is available from Shannon Hendricks, director of compliance and operations in the Development Office, at (651) 962-6958 or hend3932@stthomas.edu.
