The event will be held from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. in Room 201, Opus Hall, on the Minneapolis campus. Light food and beverages will be available.

In April 2010, SPS Commerce (NASDAQ: SPSC) became one of the first successful IPOs since the recession began. The Wall Street Journal heralded SPS as an “obvious hit with investors” as its stock closed up 13 percent, selling more shares than expected. Days later, Nelson and the executive team at SPS Commerce were ringing the closing bell at NASDAQ. Months of preparations had paid off, but as Nelson will share, it wasn’t easy.

In this presentation, she will share the process, challenges, lessons learned and strategies she undertook to pave the way for SPS’ eventual IPO.
