March 31: Examine Historic Wartime Narratives

Learn about wartime conspiracy narratives and myths of the 1930s and '40s in this special lecture from Dr. Marla Stone, a history professor at Occidental College. Stone's lecture will explore how fascist propaganda evolved and drew on international, religious and secular conspiracy theories. April 7: Attend Minnesota Premiere of 'Abraham's Bridge'

How can intentional proximity foster dialogue, understanding, and collaboration across religious and cultural divides? "Abraham's Bridge," a short documentary that explores the Tri-Faith Initiative in Omaha, Nebraska, will make its Minnesota debut during the 2025 Culture of Encounter Ideas Festival. Following the screening, filmmaker Ellie Pierce will join multifaith leaders for a discussion on the film's themes. The event is free and gets started at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, April 7, in O'Shaughnessy Educational Center auditorium. Learn more |
