Nominations sought for Gregory Roberts Heart of St. Thomas Award

With Thanksgiving approaching, it's a good time to consider nominating a colleague or student for the Heart of St. Thomas Award.

This award was initiated by the Dean of Students Office in 1994 and is given to students, staff or faculty members who have gone beyond the norm in helping others in the St. Thomas community. This help may be in the form of random acts of kindness, by helping an individual in a time of need, by creating special programs that aid or instruct members of the community, or simply by helping others in the campus community in a variety of other ways.

In 2003, the award was renamed the Gregory Roberts Heart of St. Thomas Award in recognition of UST's vice president for student affairs from 1993-2003.

If you know of someone deserving of this award, nominations can be made throughout the year by submitting a letter to me at Mail 5041.
