The University of St. Thomas Department of Public Safety is welcoming Kelly O’Connor back to campus after a yearlong military deployment in Kuwait and Iraq.

O’Connor, who started with Public Safety 13 years ago this month, returns to work at St. Thomas as the first-shift patrol sergeant on the university’s Minneapolis campus.
O’Connor served with the Minnesota Army National Guard's 175th Forward Support Co. O’Connor expressed his appreciation to the university and Public Safety for support during his deployment.
“Welcome home Kelly,” the department said, “and thanks for your service to country and sacrifice to family!”
