School of Education to host free learning technology seminar on Sept. 24
The University of St. Thomas School of Education is hosting a free half-day seminar on “Technology Inspired Learning Through Creativity, Motivation, Storytelling and Community Building” for anyone interested in integrating technology in their teaching and other areas on the job.
The event will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 24, in Thornton Auditorium, Terrence Murphy Hall, at the Minneapolis campus.
At this seminar, graduates of the Minnesota Educators and Leaders in Technology Initiative (MELTI) will showcase the latest in educational technology innovations. The featured presenter is Dr. Helen Barrett, a nationally recognized leader in learning technology.
Educators will earn three clock hours to attend. Please forward this information to all educators in your district who may benefit from this event.
