UST School of Education to host graduate school open house Sept. 21

The University of St. Thomas School of Education will host an open house for prospective graduate students from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 21, in Room 201, Opus Hall, on the university’s campus in downtown Minneapolis.

At the event faculty members and current graduate students will discuss and answer questions about the school’s doctoral, master’s, licensure and certificate programs in education, leadership and organization development. The School of Education offers more than 35 advanced degree programs for teachers, educational administrators, police officers and leaders in human resources, organization development, nonprofit and corporate administration, public agencies, student affairs and law enforcement.

A financial aid representative will explain how to apply for the school’s Graduate Diversity Tuition Scholarship and the university’s Graduate Student Grant.

Refreshments will be served, and application fees will be waived for those who attend the open house. There also will be a drawing for prizes and tuition discounts.
