Seniors planning to graduate on Dec. 21 should check eligibility

From the Office of the University Registrar

Seniors: Do you plan to participate in the undergraduate commencement ceremony on Dec. 21, 2007?

If you answered "yes," then check the participant list posted on the bulletin board outside the Registrar's Office, Room 106, Aquinas Hall, to verify that your name is listed. If your name isn't listed and you are eight or fewer credits away from graduation, review your degree evaluation for any "not met(s)" noted in red.

Then, if you have not yet contacted the Registrar's Office requesting to participate, visit the University Registrar's Web page to complete the Exception Request form. This form should be submitted to the Registrar's Office no later than Friday, Nov. 16. Within two business days, you will receive an e-mail response indicating whether you are eligible to participate in the December ceremony.

If you need assistance understanding your degree evaluation, contact your faculty adviser or an academic counselor in Room 119, O'Shaughnessy Educational Center. If you are a business major, contact a business adviser in Room 128, McNeely Hall.

If you are graduating at the end of January Term, please be advised that there is no commencement in January.
