1. Submit a brief paper telling why you feel this scholarship would help you pursue your career and why you have chosen your particular field.
  2. Results of all aptitude and placement tests you have taken in high school and college.
  3. A high school transcript and a current college transcript.
  4. Letters of recommendation from two instructors.

National Federation of the Blind Scholarships

Minnesota scholarship
The National Federation of the Blind of Minnesota will offer a scholarship in the amount of $1,000 to a deserving student who is blind and will attend a Minnesota college this fall (2002). 

The application deadline is Wednesday, April 10, 2002.

National scholarship
Each year the National Federation of the Blind offers 26 scholarships nationwide to students who are blind. The application process for these scholarships is competitive; however, students from Minnesota have won a number of times over the years. 

The application deadline for the 2002 national scholarships is March 31, 2002.
