St. Thomas Top Doctoral Institution in Minnesota for Study Abroad, International Enrollment Steady

The Institute of International Education recently released Open Doors Report 2019 shows St. Thomas has the most international students (705) among private universities in Minnesota and remains fourth in the state overall for international enrollment. St. Thomas currently ranks 17th in the nation for undergraduate study abroad participation at doctoral institutions (772 students), and the top in Minnesota.

Student Documentary Explores Sustainability at St. Thomas

Guided by the university's first sustainability strategic plan, St. Thomas is working toward becoming a more sustainable community in a huge number of ways. Students in the College of Arts and Sciences' Communication Journalism program recently produced a documentary exploring some of the may ways sustainability has taken shape at St. Thomas.

First School of Education Dean’s Forum of New School Year Happening Tuesday

Last November, School of Education Dean Kathlene Holmes Campbell launched the Dean’s Forum. Building off the work of Teachers College, Columbia University's Racial Literacy Lecture Series, the Dean’s Forum series features candid conversations on race, equity and education. The first Dean’s Forum of the new school year will take place on the Minneapolis campus at 5 p.m. Tuesday (Opus Hall rooms 201 and 202).

St. Thomas Announces Founding Dean for College of Health

The University of St. Thomas today announced Dr. MayKao Y. Hang has been appointed vice president and founding dean of its College of Health – officially launching the new college that reimagines how future professionals can solve systemic health care problems.
