Two undergraduate students will present next Feminist Friday

There will be a Feminist Friday program from 12:15 to 1 p.m. Friday, May 3, in the Luann Dummer Center for Women, Room 103, O’Shaughnessy Educational Center.  The program will be a presentation of research findings by two undergraduate students who were awarded research fellowships this year.

Katie McNamara will discuss "Women’s Studies at the Beginning of the Twenty-First Century: A Quantitative and Qualitative Study of College Students’ Perceptions and Attitudes."

Dawn Sommers will present "Understanding Feminist Philosophies of the Renaissance Period: A Recursive Look at Both Male and Female Playwrights."

All are welcome.  Dessert and beverage will be provided, and attendees are encouraged to bring a lunch.
