Up ’til Dawn deadline is tomorrow
This is a reminder to everyone who is interested in participating in Up ’til Dawn, the nationwide student-run college fund-raiser that benefits St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.:
The registration deadline to form a team is tomorrow, Wednesday, Oct. 19. Turn in your completed team form by 4 p.m. to the Box Office and Expeditions, lower level, Murray-Herrick Campus Center.
St. Thomas raised more than $52,000 at the event last year, the 11th-highest total in the nation. (See the Bulletin Today article published on March 2, 2005).
St. Jude’s is a hospital that studies and treats childhood catastrophic diseases. Because it is committed to treating kids regardless of their ability to pay medical bills, the hospital depends on fund-raising efforts such as Up ’til Dawn in order to continue its work.
Up ’til Dawn begins in the fall when its fund-raising efforts start. It ends in the spring with an all-night party filled with music, food and other entertainment.
