As Campus Ministry gears up for another semester of serving the faith community at St. Thomas, it has designed a new Web page for faculty, staff and students, as well as prospective members of the St. Thomas community.

The Web page will introduce people to Campus Ministry and encourage them to become involved. The site, designed by Brian Thomas May, St. Thomas liturgical assistant, can be reached by either typing into your web browser, or going to, Inside UST, Departments, Administrative Departments, then Campus Ministry.

The new site has information on the following aspects of Campus Ministry:

  • Liturgy @ St. Thomas: Worship schedules, how to get involved, and other prayer and spiritual opportunities.
  • RCIA: Receiving the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and First Eucharist through the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults.
  • Lutheran Service: Schedule and information on St. Thomas’ Lutheran Services
  • Music Ministry: Information on the Liturgical Choir and how to serve as a cantor or instrumentalist at Mass.
  • VIA/VISION: Information on how to sign up for Volunteers In Action projects and Volunteers In Service Internationally Or Nationally service trips.
  • Student Coalition for Social Justice: How SCSJ is working to bring peace and justice into our society.
  • Retreats at St. Thomas: Description of Campus Ministry Retreats, and introduction to St. Thomas’ retreat center (the Gainey Conference Center) in Owatonna, MN.
  • Common Ground: How to get involved, upcoming events and other information from the Campus Ministry house of hospitality.
  • Residence hall chaplains: Description of the residence hall chaplains’ roles and how to contact them.
  • Weddings in the Chapel of St. Thomas Aquinas: How to reserve a wedding date at the Chapel of St. Thomas Aquinas on the St. Paul north campus.
