Stop @ Buzzed, a student-led alcohol education campaign that originated at the College of Saint Benedict, provides students with healthy alcohol consumption tips, accurate alcohol drink size information and other educational materials that benefit students and encourage healthy habits. The Wellness Center has adapted the program to have its own St. Thomas character and influence.
In addition to the marketing campaign, the Buzzed Team in the Wellness Center also will host events throughout the semester. Past events include tabling and handing out information and merchandise, the Shot of Knowledge collaboration with Residence Life and residence hall presentations.
Students who are interested in being involved with the campaign should email Therese Coughlan. Participation does not require a large commitment and allows students the opportunity to attend monthly meetings and provide input for upcoming events and promotional ideas. All levels of involvement are welcome.
