Women’s Studies and the Luann Dummer Center for Women will host an open house and reception on Friday, April 30, to honor the center's 2009-10 grant recipients.
Women’s Studies majors and minors who are graduating in May will be honored along with undergraduate and graduate students who received fellowships for research on topics related to women: Alexandria Johnson, Mai Cha Vang, Elizabeth Henderson, Amy Nygaard and Shannon Scott. Students who attended the Leaders of Today and Tomorrow Conference also will talk about their grants to attend the leadership-building conference.
All who are interested in learning more about Women’s Studies or about students’ research are welcome to attend the event, which will be held from 3:30 to 5 p.m. in the Luann Dummer Center for Women, Room 103, O'Shaughnessy Educational Center.
