University Advocates for Women and Equity Hosts Reception Sept. 29 for new Women Employees, Annual Fall Meeting

The St. Thomas community is invited to celebrate with the University Advocates for Women and Equity as it welcomes new female employees hired since March 2010. At the reception, to be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 29, in the Great Room of McNeely Hall (Room 100) on the St. Paul campus, women faculty and staff will be introduced and welcomed to the community.

The reception also will serve as the annual fall meeting for the UAWE full membership. At the meeting, members of the UAWE coordinating council will be chosen and feedback solicited regarding issues of concern to the full membership. All interested parties are welcome.

The University Advocates for Women and Equity is open to all members of the university community who agree with its mission of support and advocacy for women.
