Student Poster Presentation on African-American History Slated for Nov. 30

All are invited to a poster presentation by the students of “African-American History in Global Perspective,” taught by Dr. Anne Klejment, History Department, College of Arts and Sciences.

The presentation will be held from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 30, in the first-floor lobby of O’Shaughnessy Educational Center. The event is free and open to the public.

The presentation will be held in honor of Rosa Parks, an African-American civil-rights activist who, on Dec. 1, 1955, became a symbol of the Civil Rights Movement when she refused to give up her bus seat to a white passenger.

For more information e-mail Klejment.
