Vice President and Director of Athletics Phil Esten '95 has successfully navigated many challenges during his three years in his role.
The five-person senior leadership team of experienced, high-energy and driven administrators he has assembled helped take St. Thomas' Division I path from a concept to a reality.
"I love our leadership team – they are all selfless, student-athlete centric, service-oriented individuals with tremendous college athletics and life experience," Esten said. "Equally as important, they each offer an impactful, yet unique, dimension of leadership to our athletics department. I'm grateful that we've been able to attract such an accomplished group of professionals, and I look forward to the future of Tommie Athletics."
