Scholar to discuss Arab women artists and the conflicts of their role
Dr. Nada Shabout, of the University of North Texas, will speak at St. Thomas on April 16. A reception follows with Middle Eastern food, music and film. Both events are held in conjunction with the exhibition, “Sabeel: Artistic Journeys From Arab Lands to America,” open through May 24.
