Celebrate National American Indian and Alaska Native Heritage Month on Thursday, Nov. 12. The celebration will feature a performance by the Native Pride Dancers and a chance to try frybread tacos from 11:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. in the O'Shaughnessy Educational Center auditorium.
The Native Pride Dancers have entertained and educated audiences across the globe on the beauty, skill and majesty of American Indian music and dance. Based in St. Paul, the Native Pride Dancers make up a rich collective of artists from more than 20 tribes, including the: Menomini, Prairie Band Potawatomi, Ho-Chunk, Dakota, Oglala, Ojibwe, Alabama-Coushatta, Mandan, Hidatsa, Arikara, Meskwaki, Dine and Lakota.
This free event is open to the UST community and sponsored by Multicultural Student Services and STAR.
