Talk on 'Celebrating Community: Reflections on Justice, Service, Leadership' set for April 5

Dr. Edgar Cahn, a leading expert in community-building efforts globally, will give a presentation, “Celebrating Community: Reflections on Justice, Service and Leadership,” on Tuesday, April 5.

Students, faculty, staff and community members are invited to the event, which will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the Schulze Grand Atrium at the University of St. Thomas School of Law in Minneapolis.

Cahn will discuss community-building endeavors that include: implementing the time-banking model, advocating for civil rights policies, teaching social justice lawyering, and creating restorative justice programming.

Cahn's presentation is sponsored by the School of Law’s Multicultural Affairs Committee.
