The Mid-Campus Council is sponsoring a campuswide clothing drive from Monday, Nov. 28, through Thursday, Dec. 15.
The clothes will be donated to the Marie Sandvick Center, an organization that provides food, clothing and other services to people in need. Bins for donations will be placed in all residence halls and a few other common areas. The campus community is asked to look for the bins and to donate new or gently used clothing of any type, including hats, mittens and scarves.
“Thanksgiving break also is a great time to round up unwanted clothing from family members,” remarked Hannah Larsen, Mid-Campus Council treasurer. “Now is the perfect time of year to give back.”
