The St. Thomas Great Books reading group will discuss Sherlock Holmes mysteries, by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, on Wednesday, June 8.

Participants will meet from 7 to 9 p.m. in Room 154, Murray-Herrick Campus Center. With the quad under construction, follow the maze of fencing that leads to the entrance of Murray-Herrick Campus Center. For June the group will read four mysteries, The Dancing Men, The Devil’s Foot, The Final Problem, and The Empty House, and two or more of the reader's choice.

The Great Books reading group program will end with the July meeting:

  • July 13 – The American Catholic Revolution, by Father Mark S. Massa, S.J.

Everyone is welcome; refreshments will be served. The books are available in the University of St. Thomas Bookstore. Look for the Great Books poster near the customer service desk.
