Tony Parr, managing director of investments at Wells Fargo Advisors, will speak at the UST Investment Club meeting tomorrow, Thursday, Sept. 29. The meeting will be held from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Room 109, McNeely Hall. All members of the UST community are invited to attend free of charge; food will be provided.

Parr has been in the financial services industry for more than 20 years. He is Wells Fargo Advisors managing director-investments and a premier adviser, a production-based title reserved for a select group of professionals within the firm. He also has been a member of the firm’s speakers bureau, offering advice and counsel in presentations to his peers around the country.
In 2006 he was recognized as a Certified Financial Planner. To earn this credential one must demonstrate knowledge of more than 100 planning concepts, pass a rigorous examination, adhere to a strict code of ethics and fulfill annual continuing education requirements.
An honors graduate of Boston University, Parr has a degree in economics and a minor in Spanish, which he received while studying in Madrid, Spain.
