The St. Thomas Great Books reading group will discuss Madame Bovary, by Gustave Flaubert, on Wednesday, April 13. The translation by Raymond MacKenzie is suggested. Participants will meet from 7 to 9 p.m. in Room 388, Owens Science Hall.
The Great Books reading group tentative schedule:
- May 25 – The Cube and the Cathedral, by George Weigel
- June 15 – to be determined
- July – The American Catholic Revolution, by Father Mark S. Massa, S.J.
Everyone is welcome; refreshments will be served. The books are available in the University of St. Thomas Bookstore. Look for the Great Books poster near the customer service desk.
