Two attorneys at law will discuss the professional liability of accountants and attorneys at a program tomorrow hosted by the Department of Ethics and Business Law, and the Accounting Club.
In their discussion, titled "What Not to Do: Accountant and Attorney Professional Liability," Thomas Shroyer and Patrick O'Neill Jr. will highlight real examples of professional liability issues that practicing accountants and attorneys face in their daily work lives.
Shroyer, an attorney with Moss and Barnett, has a practice concentration on CPA defense. O'Neill, an attorney with O'Neill & Murphy, LLP, has a practice concentration on attorney malpractice.
The discussion will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 16, in Room 100, McNeely Hall, on the St. Paul campus; pizza and pop will be provided.
