The 20th annual International Education Center Photo Contest celebrates the best student photography by returning study abroad students. Photos are judged in two categories – “A Sense of Place” selections capture places and scenery of the country visited and “An Intercultural Experience” photos feature people and the meeting of cultures.

The International Education Center is celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2008. As part of a yearlong commemoration, a photo exhibit titled “A Lens on the World: Through the Eyes of St. Thomas Students Studying Abroad” will showcase past photo contest award winners. An opening reception will be held at 4 p.m. Feb. 14, 2008, in the O’Shaughnessy Education Center lobby. The exhibit will run through March 21.
