The Graduate Programs in Software will host a brown bag seminar, "Building Your Own Cloud with OpenStack," on Tuesday, May 3.
Marius Tegomoh, a St. Thomas instructor and GPS staff member, will present a gentle exploration of a scalable cloud operating system using open source technologies. He will discuss using OpenStack to build a "hardware and hypervisor agnostic" cloud computing platform.
The seminar will be held from noon to 1 p.m. in Room 313, O'Shaughnessy Science Hall.
