The Gabriel Kney pipe organ in the Chapel of St. Thomas Aquinas on the University of St. Thomas’ St. Paul campus will be featured in two February broadcasts of “Pipedreams,” a nationally syndicated radio program from American Public Media.
On Sunday, Feb. 6, Felix Hell will perform works by Bach, Duruflé and John Weaver. The recital originally was held at St. Thomas on March 15, 2010.
Excerpts from Canadian artist Rachel Laurin’s November 2009 recital will be aired on Sunday, Feb. 27.
“Pipedreams” is heard locally on KSJN 99.5 from 6 to 8 a.m. Sunday mornings. The shows also are streamed on the Web here.
