The House That Shank Built
University NewsThrough her determination and perseverance, Dr. Barbara Shank has built the School of Social Work from four faculty and 50 students to 31 faculty and 600 students in her nearly 40 years at St. Thomas. -

University NewsDr. Barbara Shank, who is retiring as dean of the School of Social Work at St. Thomas and St. Catherine, received the St. Thomas Distinguished Service Award Saturday at graduate commencement exercises. -
