Five theologians will speak at the next Romanian Orthodox Spirituality Symposium, “Nicaea and Constantinople: A Confession of Faith, Witness and Source of Unity,” on Saturday, March 6.
Father Nicolai Buga, Archbishop Nicolae Condrea, Dr. Gragos Giulea, Dr. Steven Matthews and Father Paul Wesche will lecture, followed by a question-and-answer period. Icons and cultural artifacts representative of the Romanian spiritual experience will be displayed at the symposium.
The event, free and open to the public, will be held from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. in Room 126, John R. Roach Center for the Liberal Arts.
The Symposium of Romanian Orthodox Spirituality, known commonly as the Spirituality Symposium, is a ministry of the Romanian Orthodox Archdiocese in the Americas, established for the purpose of sharing the rich treasure of Orthodox Christian theology and spirituality with campus communities throughout Canada and the United States.
