Twin Cities Public Television will rebroadcast three programs that originated at the University of St. Thomas.
The programs, which will air on TPT’s statewide Minnesota channel, tptMN, are:
- “News and Audience Responsibilities,” covering St. Thomas’ 2009 Whalen Symposium “Whose News? Audience Responsibilities in a Digital World,” airs at 9 p.m. tonight, Tuesday, Oct. 11, and 3 a.m. and 9 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 12.
- “Engineering, Minnesota’s Future: George Buckley,” a rebroadcast of a Jan. 24, 2007, address at St. Thomas by a St. Thomas trustee who is the chairman, president and CEO of 3M, airs at 8 p.m. tonight, Oct. 11, and 2 a.m. and 8 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 12.
- “DePalma on North America as a Nation,” a rebroadcast of an April 2008 Donald B. Regan Distinguished Lecture by award-winning New York Times journalist and author Anthony DePalma, airs at 11 p.m. Monday, Oct. 24, and 5 a.m., 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 25.
