Minnesota Campus Compact names executive director
Catherine Reid Day has been named executive director of Minnesota Campus Compact, a coalition of 50 college and university presidents, including Father Dennis Dease, St. Thomas' president.
MCC's mission is to strengthen communities through campus-community partnerships and education for informed, active citizenship.
Day, who will begin her duties July 6, is currently vice president for external relations at the Minnesota Children's Museum. She will replace current executive director Mark Langseth, who recently accepted the position of vice president for university advancement and executive director of the foundation at Metropolitan State University.
