Two Art History Students Present Research Symposium Friday

Faculty and staff of the Art History Department will celebrate the accomplishments of December graduates Daniel Soukop and Laura Salciccia on Friday, Dec. 10. The graduates will present their research papers to family and friends during a symposium at 3:30 p.m. in Room 414, O’Shaughnessy Educational Center. The campus community is invited to attend.

Undergraduate senior paper presentations:

  • Salciccia, “Wedding Portrait and Sunday Afternoon at Alameda Park: A Relationship Through the Eyes of Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera” – Dr. Heather Shirey, faculty adviser
  • Soukop, “Content and Style of Wall Writing: Definitions of Graffiti in Contemporary Terms” – Dr. Heather Shirey, faculty adviser
