Been to a flag football game lately?
Seminarians from the St. Paul Seminary will battle St. John Vianney seminarians at 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 15, in O’Shaughnessy Stadium. SPS seminarians hope to retain possession of the winners’ trophy for the Rectors’ Bowl, a touch-football game that has become an annual event between the two schools.
SPS teams have been undefeated since this competition began in 2000. What has been called a case of experience triumphing over youth may no longer hold, due to the huge numbers of seminarians at SJV this year. The trophy is now up for grabs.
Cheer the teams and witness the final outcome under the lights this Saturday!
